  1. On the topic of the movie, Parental Guidance, I'd reccomend it for a random family movie. If one was mindblowingly good, and ten was astoundingly bad, it would be a perfect five. Some parts of the movie had been tailored for cheap laughs, like at the skateboarding rink or when the kids ate sugar. The house was also very unrealistic, though when the grandparents tried using it, it was pretty funny. Turner was really sweet, though his happy ending was also almost completely unrealistic. I enjoyed watching this movie for the actors, and I loved the ending, even though it could have been less drawn out

    1. Really? My family enjoyed the movie, even on the cheesy jokes. I think the house is pretty realistic, especially since it what some-what of a prototype/model. I think the mother did not match up with the father. The mother seemed all worried, while the father could care less about the children. Towards the end though, the father seemed to 'remember about his kids'. The skateboarding scene seemed like something a trouble maker would do. It seemed realistic, just not to the measure they took it to. A kid on the top of the skateboarding rink does not seem realistic, yet I could see him doing something a little less drastic than that. I have to agree on the sugar/cake scene, especially with the girl. The girl seemed to overreact WAY to much over the cake. Although I have to admit that the line she said at the end was pretty funny :) I think on a scale of 1-10 1= worst 10=best, I would give it a 8/10.
Overall the movie may have been unrealistic, but it was still humorous and heartwarming.
I love Carl and the 'Panasian' guy! He talked Jewish, but said he was Asian xD
