Halloween is just 2 weeks away! If you haven't picked out a costume yet, here are some suggestions! 

A mermaid costume might seem complicated, but if you're making it yourself, it might end up being on of the easier options! Go to a thrift shop or your own closet, and find a blue, green, of turquoise skirt that is flows, or looks somewhat like a mermaid. Then, wear a green, blue (different shade than the skirt), purple, or pink shirt or tank top. You might want to tuck it into the skirt. Wear you hair up, and if possible, in a bun. Try to put on some make-up, jewelry  and other accessories to make this costume come to life!

Happy Fall! As promised, for the month of October, Sunset Hotel will be preparing you for Halloween! Here's a few tips to get you started: 

Know the neighborhood! One of the most common mistakes some families make is trying to find a neighborhood that they will go trick-or-treating in only days before they go! Ask your friends near by and see where they are going, or if their neighborhood is a good one to go to! After all, going with friends is a bunch of fun! The bottom line is that planning which neighborhood to go to is a good idea to do in the beginning of the month! 

Halloween is a great chance to get to know your neighbors! If you're new to your neighborhood, then Halloween is a great opportunity to spend time with your neighbors! If your neighborhood is trick-or-treating, then ask your neighbors if they are doing anything. If not, then suggest is they would like to go around the neighborhood with you. Even your neighbors are...well..elderly that doesn't mean that you shouldn't ask them! It will make their day and it might even be more fun that going alone with your family!

Dear Guests, We're back!

Dear Guests,
We're back! Whatever the problem was, it seems to have cleared up now and we hope to provide you (once more) with fun crafts, activities, and ideas to get you started on having a great stay at Sunset Hotel. However, we have to give you a few updates on what is happening:
Since summer is over, the pool is closed and instead we will begin new more winter/fall like activities for everyone to enjoy! More information will be given to you in the future.
For the next few months, we will be holiday busy! During the month of October we will provide you, our guests, with great ideas for Halloween. For November, we will switch over to Thanksgiving themed crafts and such! Then, throughout December we'll be getting you ready for the 'happiest time of the year'! Not to mention that at the beginning of January we will have a few New Year ideas! Finally, towards the end of January we will be celebrating Sunset Hotel's 1 year anniversary! We hope you enjoy the upcoming holidays!
The last thing we hope to inform you about it our new poll and our new background! Please take second to vote in the poll and admire the lovely new background. The poll will end next week at 10 PM.

So sorry!

I'm so sorry that we haven't been giving you the activities we promised! We've been having MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR computer issues, and it's not allowing us to write. So for now, please bear with us while we are trying to figure things out!

Let's get this party started!

I hope you enjoyed your few days to yourself (which turned out to be more like a week!)!

Part of the reason was that I was going to be gone and our computers were not working! All is well now, and we can get this party started! Sunset Hotel will resume, providing you with crafts, jokes, great ideas, and so much more! We hope you have a wonderful week!
